ServicesSocial media marketing for trade businesses
Paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok get your business known in your area, including among customers who are not actively searching yet. We measure success in jobs, not likes.
Who this is for
For trade businesses and specialist firms working on and around the home whose work can be shown: bathrooms, kitchens, roofs, windows, verandas, gardens, solar panels. And for businesses that want to become the first choice in their area rather than just waiting for word of mouth.
When social media ads pay off, and when they do not
Worthwhile: services people want to see
Nobody gets up in the morning and searches for a new bathroom. But someone who sees a well-finished bathroom in their own neighbourhood starts thinking about one. Social media ads plant that idea before anyone searches on Google.
Worthwhile: higher job values
The higher your job value, the more you can afford to pay for an enquiry. For renovations, extensions or installations, even a longer decision time pays off.
Less worthwhile: emergencies and small jobs
With a burst pipe or a broken boiler, people search. They do not browse. For that, Google Ads are the right route.
Where we draw the line
If your gross profit per job is low or you have no spare capacity, we advise against it. We check this in the free consultation, before any money is spent.
Which platform for what
This is where you reach homeowners from their mid-30s upwards within a set radius of your business. For most trades it is the most important platform for enquiries.
All about images and short videos. Strong for anything with an impressive before and after: bathrooms, kitchens, gardens, façades.
Used for planning: people collect ideas there for home improvements, gardens or interiors. A good fit for businesses with projects worth showing and customers who take longer to plan.
TikTok
Short, honest glimpses of your work reach a lot of local people there. Worthwhile if you have video footage or plan to get some.
Not every business needs all four. Which platform suits your trade and your customers depends on your numbers, not on a trend.
What you get
A strategy built from your numbers
Job value, number of jobs and spare capacity show how much you can afford to pay for an enquiry. Budget, platform and offer follow from that. More on this under Our method.
Ads that look like your business
Copy, images and videos from your real projects. For video shoots we work with a partner who films on site across Germany.
Targeted locally
Only people in your local area see your ads. No budget wasted on clicks from places you do not cover.
A landing page that matches the ad
Anyone who clicks lands on a page about exactly that offer, with a call button and an enquiry form. See Websites & landing pages.
Measurement through to the job
Every enquiry is traced back to its source. You get your own dashboard and a report every month. See Tracking & measurement.

Frequently asked questions about social media marketing in the trades
What does social media marketing for trade businesses cost?
The cost has two parts: our service and your ad budget. The ad budget goes directly to the platform, and we take no margin on it. How much of each makes sense for your business comes out of the calculation in the free consultation: job value, the extra jobs you want and spare capacity. If the numbers do not add up, we say so.
Social media ads or Google Ads, where do I start?
Usually with Google Ads, because that is where people who need a tradesperson now are searching. Social media ads come next when you want to be better known in your area, or when you offer services that hardly anyone actively searches for but that people find appealing: the new bathroom, the veranda, the conservatory.
Do my staff have to appear on camera?
No. Good ads in the trades mainly show your work: before and after, the finished project, details. If someone on the team is keen, that is a bonus, but it is not a requirement. For videos we work with a partner who films across Germany.
Is a well-kept Instagram profile not enough?
A profile is good for people who already know you. It will hardly reach new customers in your area, because unpaid posts are seen by only a small share of your followers. Paid ads reach homeowners in your local area directly, even without a single follower.
How quickly will I see results?
The first enquiries can come in within the first few weeks. A campaign can only be judged reliably once enough enquiries and jobs have come in. How long that takes depends on your trade, area and job value. We do not promise a number.
Do you also recruit staff for my business through social media?
Yes, on request. The same tools can be used to reach skilled workers and apprentices in your area: an ad, a simple application page and reliable tracking. Just mention it in the free consultation.
